Legal Separation
You can file a Legal Separation in the State of Arizona if you want to live a separate life from your spouse. A Legal Separation separates the property and debts of the parties so you will no longer be legally responsible for your spouse. A Legal Separation decides custody, visitation and child support issues. You will remain married to your spouse with a legal separation. If you believe that divorce is inevitable you may want to consider filing for dissolution of marriage, as filing for Legal Separation will only double the cost. 

Dissolution of Marriage 
In Arizona, unless you entered into a Covenant Marriage, the only grounds for divorce is that "the marriage is irretrievably broken" or "no fault." A divorce decides property, debts, custody, visitation and child support issues. Arizona is a community property state, which means (with very few exceptions) that all assets and liabilities acquired during the marriage are joint assets and liabilities subject to division, regardless of whose name they are in.

Child Support Calculations -- Starting - $150.00 plus applicable court filing fees

Child Support Modification
A child support modification is a process to legally change the child support amount. Arizona law allows parents to ask the court to change or modify the amount of child support paid or received under a prior court order (the court makes the final decision). Support modification is appropriate if there has been a change of income of either parent, or other changes such as child care costs or health insurance premiums.
